Getting Ebooks
I've tried to categorize in referencing sites and sites with actual archives. This is
not an all-or-nothing situation. Some referencing sites have their own ebook archive and vice versa, so don't take the split too seriously. These are my own

Low cost products for getting a whole bunch of ebooks at once without spending time and
money downloading those you want.
Many (most?) of the larger publishers sell books in digital form today, but there is
also a lot of smaller publishers focusing only on ebooks due to no costs for warehousing
and delivery. So far the range of ebooks is not at all en par with paper books.

provides on-line access to contemporary computer-related books from most popular
publishers. I use this service at work and at home, and it frees me from buying all those
books as paper. Searching for specific topics is very simple and versatile. Even though
it's approx $200 a year it's cheaper than keeping a bookshelf of "pbooks"
up-to-date.
