Increased Symbian OS sales
As Symbian OS is used more and more in mainstream phones, accordingly also Symbian OS volume increases substantially. Especially Nokia (via Series 60) has driven this trend.
FYI: Series 60 is Symbian OS, but with a specific form factor and a specific set of applications. System API's are the same (at least for the most part).
