Nokia IMS + Ubiquity SIP Application Server --> Media Push
This note mentions that information like news can be pushed to mobile phones via SIP. I'm wondering what's on the phone side, as no phones today support OMA IMS.
It points out an interesting effect of deploying IMS: to enable value services on top of the technology. IMS in itself is primarily an enabler for services.
