No sales decline in sight...
Mobile phones sales grew by 21% to 817M during 2005.

A mentioned trend is that the 6 largest players take market share from the smaller players.

Nokia: 35% (33%)
Motorola: 18% (16%)
Samsung: 12% (12%)
The rest are under 10% each.

Fashion phones seem now reason enough to upgrade to new phones. It's hard to sell on just features nowadays, and a fashion statement in the shape of coloring or form doesn't cost nearly as much as a more hefty camera or similar. Hence, fashion phones can also exist at the very lowest price points.
