4G on the way
This explanation might come in handy: The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) defines 4G as a wireless technology that transfers data at 100 megabits per second while the user is moving and 1 gigabit per second when stationary.
We are of course talking shared access, like with other radio technologies, but even so this is fast.
What core technology will lead? I vote for WiMAX, but something else might pop up.
