Google AdWords goes mobile
It was only a matter of time before also Google would introduce an advertizing network for mobile sites.
This should mean also AdSense will be provided for mobile sites, but right now ads are only shown on search hit pages.
AdMob claims to be the biggest mobile ad network at the moment, so it will be interesting to see whether it can stay that way. There's also Admoda (by MobVision), and I'm sure there's plenty more. This is gold digging time, so many will jump on the train. But, not surprisingly, I'm still standing on the platform :).
I tried to find out more about AdWords for mobile by setting up Adwords for it, but I couldn't. Maybe because the service sees I'm not from USA or Japan (where it's been introduced first).
