Pannon adopts Opera Mini
Pannon is yet another operator that chooses to pre-install Opera Mini on their phones instead of requiring phones that have an integrated full Web browser.

Interestingly the data traffic decreases when using Opera Mini compared to embedded browsers like Opera Mobile, Obigo Browser or Access NetFront, but users will rejoice. Also, Opera Mini means browsing via a GPRS phone is acceptably fast.

Digital Media Europe: News - Pannon to pre-install Opera Mini browser on handsets

Comments:
Opera Mini IS a great product for your JavaME enabled phone. One thing to realize though is that all traffic goes via Opera proxies and compressed on the fly (that why it's so fast), so Opera get a huge and very marketable database of everything mobile surfers are interested in...
I still wonder when the first real 'free' as in speech mobile browser will be released for JavaME phones (I know Firefox is already running on Winow Mobile).
