iPhone + iTunes = mandatory
I don't care much about Apple's offerings, but I have to admit they are clever in how they look at the whole infrastructure / ecology around an offering, and how they more than ever look at how they can make the most money by extending beyond the mere gadget, something I think they really got rolling with the iPod and e.g. the 10% cut on third-party iPod accessories and the (at least partial) iTunes lock-in.
