Interesting effects of a Google announcement
It’s kind of interesting that the stock for the leading navigation device/software providers (Garmin, TomTom) dives when Google announces Google Maps Navigation - an application and service that together with Android (and long term Mac OS X) phones competes head on with these players. It takes a few “connect the dots” to realize navigation is now free (at least virtually).
